Canterbury Tales
Westchester Library is excited to announce Canterbury Tales — an oral history project celebrating the 50th anniversary of our building! We are collecting firsthand accounts of life in Westchester through the years to ensure that these experiences are available to future generations. Do you remember the old Canterbury station? Walking your kids to school on the first day of classes? Did you ever serve as a member of a Village board or other organization? Come share your memories. Interviews will be recorded and added to our local history collection where they will be available to the public. Photos of historic Westchester and local ephemera will be added to the archive, as well. In appreciation, participants will be given a copy of their interviews on discs. For questions or to arrange an interview, contact the Adult Dept at 708-562-3573 or email askus@westchesterpl.org.
