Warming/ Cooling Centers – The Village Hall is a 24-hour warming/cooling center whenever citizens lose power or heat at home during severe weather. The Library is also a warming/cooling center, but during library hours only.

Beds Plus – This coalition of faith communities provide emergency overnight shelter and assists homeless people of west suburban Cook County. Has current list and schedule of shelter locations.

Housing Forward – formerly West Suburban PADS, social service agency in west Cook County with emergency shelter program and services to help transition individuals and families out of homelessness.
